How to Apply for an Umrah Visa / Saudi eVisa Online
There's no paper Umrah visa form to download anymore. Here's how Americans and US residents apply online, plus a document checklist. Or fill out the form on this page and we'll help.

Looking for the Umrah visa application form? Saudi Arabia no longer uses paper Umrah visa forms for travelers from the United States. US citizens and most green-card holders apply online for the Saudi tourist eVisa, which can be used for Umrah outside the Hajj season. Other pilgrims use an Umrah visa issued with a Nusuk-linked package. Everyone then books a Nusuk Umrah permit in the Nusuk app. Fill out the form on this page with your travel dates, number of nights, number of travelers and preferred hotel category (3, 4 or 5-star), and our team will send you an Umrah package quote and help you with your visa.
Step 1: Choose the Right Visa
- US citizens and green-card holders: the tourist eVisa at visa.visitsaudi.com is usually best. It is generally valid for 1 year with multiple entries and stays of up to 90 days, at about SAR 480–535 including insurance (fees change).
- Non-US nationals living in the US (or anyone not eligible for the eVisa): an Umrah visa through a Nusuk package with a licensed provider. You must enter within 30 days of issue.
- Frequent visitors: ask us about the new multiple-entry Umrah visa (1 year, up to 90 days in total).
- Not for Hajj: none of these visas can be used for Hajj, and they can't be used to enter Makkah during the Hajj-season closure.
How to Apply for the Saudi Tourist eVisa (for Umrah)
1. Check eligibility
US passport holders qualify. Green-card holders usually qualify (some nationalities face extra restrictions), as do some holders of a used US visa.
2. Go to the official portal
Visit visa.visitsaudi.com and create an account. Use only the official site and beware of look-alike sites charging extra fees.
3. Fill in the online form
Enter your passport and travel details exactly as shown in your passport, and upload a photo if requested.
4. Pay online
Pay the visa fee, which includes mandatory medical insurance, by card.
5. Receive your eVisa by email
Print it and save a copy on your phone. Check that all the details are correct.
6. Book your Nusuk Umrah permit
In the Nusuk app (nusuk.sa), choose your Umrah date and time slot, plus a Rawdah visit if desired.
